Humor in Design

Series of posters developed for a university assignment with the theme of 'Humor in Design'. My idea was to collect idiomatic expressions from different countries and translate them literally to English, creating absurd sentences. A collage style was used in all four posters.
The chosen expressions were:
1. ich verstehe nur Bahnhof (German) ☞ I only understand train station
2. ver o sol nascer quadrado (Portuguese) ☞ To see the sun rise square
3. Att glida in på en räkmacka (Swedish) ☞ To slide in on a shrimp sandwich
4. 猫をかぶる (Japanese) ☞ To wear a cat on one’s head
